Capital Connect is a new global fintech business which sits under the Digital Private Markets within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. Focused on early-stage private markets, Capital Connect is a cross-functional platform which leverages the scale, network, and data of JPM. The platform allows members to network with other members, benchmark companies and markets using proprietary data, consume exclusive content, and raise/invest capital.


The team operates like a start-up within the larger bank and is quickly growing as our clients request new products out of the ecosystem. We are looking for constant learners who are passionate about solving complex problems in the private capital markets and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Existing relationships with growth stage investors and experience as a capital fundraiser/founder is a plus.


**In this role, you will:**


+ Foster and expand investor relationships within an assigned geography


+ Work closely with BD and product counterparts to provide a continuous feedback loop for new features and client feature requests


+ Contribute to go-to-market efforts and lay foundation for expansion into new markets


+ Identify opportunities to introduce other banking services and deepen relationship with investor and corporate prospects


+ Become an industry expert and have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape in the private markets


+ Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline which will serve as top of funnel for our entire investor product suite


+ Develop strong relationships within the investor ecosystem and deliver new products as they are released onto the platform


+ Develop a strong outbound motion to bring new investor relationships onto the Capital Connect marketplace


**Essentials**


+ 7+ years of experience in startup, venture capital, or related financial services roles


+ Deep interest in financial markets, growth stage capital-raising activity , and a strong understanding of the players within the sector


+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with any internal partner or client, regardless of role


+ Ability to readily adapt to evolving roles, responsibilities, and team initiatives while maintaining a high level of comfort


+ Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo, think creatively, and problem-solve.


+ Excel in diverse and intercultural teams, excellent team player


+ Enjoy working in a fast-paced, demanding, and high-pressure environment
