Role Description

Keystone is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of signature collector in the Philadelphia area to participate in a ballot access campaign. As a signature collector you will travel to high traffic areas or door to door to collect signatures to qualify candidates for the ballot in the upcoming election. This is an in person position with a minimum requirement of three shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods (up to 7 hours per day) while meeting and talking to people

• Comfortable with, knowledgeable of, and enthusiastic about discussing topics related to progressive politics, advocacy, and public policy

• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends

• Consistently meet daily and weekly conversation goals

• Ability to memorize and recite scripts and statements prepared and provided by Keystone

Experience, Requirements and Skills

• No education or experience requirement for this position, however previous paid or volunteer canvass or fundraising experience (including door-to-door sales work, Census outreach work, etc.) is a plus!

• Excellent communication skills including active listening and interpersonal skills

• Ability to travel consistently during the contract period

• Good time management skills to fulfill goals within a specific period

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is $20/hour
