Canvasser - Bend

Summary/Objective

Deschutes Roofing Company LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Canvasser. You will not be required to climb on roofs or perform roof inspections. This is a door-to-door position setting appointments in the Central Oregon area. Your work will contribute to our mission of treating every customer like family and their home like our own, while embodying our core values of community, innovation, integrity, quality, safety, and leadership.

Essential Functions

• Canvassing: Conduct door-to-door visits in various neighborhoods to engage with homeowners and promote the company's services.
• Needs Assessment: Evaluate each home and determine which homeowners need to be approached and provided with a flyer for a free consultation.
• Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments on behalf of the sales team with interested homeowners for a free consultation.
• Information Provision: Offer homeowners general information about the company's services, products, and the consultation process.
• Communication Facilitation: Act as the intermediary between homeowners and the sales team members, ensuring smooth communication and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The Canvasser will primarily work out on the field.

Physical Demands

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, maintaining physical stamina and mobility throughout the workday. Occasional kneeling/lifting/reaching/twisting/bending. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position; typical work hours vary based on both business needs, and own schedule. Overtime may be required based on seasonal needs.

Travel

Visit multiple neighborhoods in Bend, and the surrounding cities, and may be required to come into the office for trainings and meetings.
