Kaprikorn is a thriving commercial Cannabis Nursery and indoor flower producer, and we are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our close-knit team of 30. Position: Cloner

Our cloners are responsible for cutting, processing and poking clones into rockwool at Kaprikorn's Nursery in Lowell. This is an essential position that creates Kaprikorn Nursery's product--clones! The cloning position is a fun way to get started in the cannabis industry.

Someone who can work independently, likes to challenge oneself to work quickly and has great attention to detail will be ideal for this position. The person in this position will clone 5 days a week. Shifts are 7:30am-4:00pm.

Both women and men are encouraged to apply! Previous plant experience is a plus but not required. If you have great attention to detail, are fast with your hands, take direction well and are hard working then you might be right for this position.

Cloner Responsibilities:

• cutting clones off mother plants
• processing clones
• physically moving heavy plants/bags of soil
• pruning
• transplanting plants
• pesticide applications
• cleaning

Additional Duties May Include:

• watering plants
• physically moving heavy plants/bags of soil
• pruning
• transplanting plants
• pesticide applications
• cleaning
• assist with tasks at our grow locations, including cleaning, joint rolling, pruning, up-potting, trimming, and harvesting.
• deliveries
• working on the outdoor grow

Note: wildfires are common in Oregon in the summer. Be aware this position will require working in smokey conditions in accordance with OSHA standards. In some cases that means workers must wear a respirator while working.

Requirements:

• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience with plants is beneficial
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• 21 years old or older and eligible for an OLCC worker permit
