Cannabis Delivery Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary: The Delivery Logistics Coordinator will be primarily focused on overseeing the team of drivers who are responsible for delivering cannabis products to patients, as well as creating and executing the strategy and processes of the delivery program. This role will be ultimately responsible for ensuring each product is delivered safely and compliantly to each of our patients with exceptional service. This role will be charged with providing a positive and friendly experience for all GOLDLEAF patients and team members and working collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to achieve operational excellence in our delivery program.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other related duties as assigned.

• Process and deliver customer orders using a POS
• Package orders, Process transactions with cash
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Perform other related work as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Strong problem solving, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to dispense cannabis products accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Manage the digital customer experience to ensure consistency between online experience and receipt of order.
• Executes inventory control functions including cycle counts, intake, year-end physical inventories, and any other necessary function (where applicable).
• Adheres to and enforces all city and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; educates the team and ensures compliance.
• Stay up to date on product and industry knowledge.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with management to drive strategy and achieve goals.
• Participate in leadership meetings by presenting department updates, identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and offering feedback.
• Curate and develop a strong team who are versed and exemplify the company values while providing world-class customer service.

• Effectively communicate information to the team and customers in a timely matter.
• May be required to assist with other aspects of the business including marketing, promotion, inventory, and other areas as needed.
• Load and unload products into company vehicles according to company's specifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of products according to schedule using predetermined routes.
• Carefully review orders prior to delivery.
• Oversee collection payments from customers and patients, and follow company protocols for counting out, storing, and transporting currency.
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Understand and follow all rules and regulations set forth by the state of Florida for delivery of medical cannabis.
• Transport deliveries safely and securely according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate inventory, transport and distribution records
• Operate company vehicles safely and within all state and local guidelines.
• Ensure the load is properly secured before moving the vehicle.
• Communicate any security or safety concerns to the Compliance and HR teams as needed.
• Assist other teams when not on scheduled routes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Follow proper dispensing methods implemented by the Department of Health ​and Company SOP’s.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent team management skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and some holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Required Education/Experience:

• Must be 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record, and be able to pass motor vehicle history report and background check per state cannabis regulations.
• Experience with office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
• 2+ years of Retail or Customer Service experience required.
• Prior delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience in legal cannabis is a plus.

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Shift
• 10 Hour Shift
• Weekend availability
