Cannabis Brand Ambassador

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Brand Ambassador to represent our cannabis company. As a Brand Ambassador, you will act as the face and voice of our brand, promoting our products and educating consumers about the benefits and responsible use of cannabis. You will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, fostering customer loyalty, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the cannabis industry, and a genuine enthusiasm for our products.

Responsibilities:

Brand Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact between our company and our patients, embodying our brand values and mission. Act as a positive and authentic representative at various events, vendor days, pop-ups, and other relevant venues.

Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, dosage recommendations, and potential benefits. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to provide accurate information to customers.

Customer Engagement: Engage with consumers in a friendly and approachable manner, initiating conversations, answering questions, and offering guidance on product selection and usage. Create a welcoming environment that promotes trust and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrations and Sampling: Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the quality and features of our cannabis offerings. Provide samples to customers while adhering to legal and compliance guidelines.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, industry professionals, dispensary staff, and community members. Collaborate with them to increase brand visibility and reach within the local cannabis community.

Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating promotional events, product launches, and educational sessions. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless execution and maximize brand exposure.

Brand Advocacy: Actively promote our brand on various social media platforms and online communities. Create engaging content, such as blog posts, videos, or product reviews, to share insights and generate buzz about our products.

Training and Education: Stay informed about new cannabis products, industry trends, and relevant scientific research. Provide training and educational sessions to dispensary staff, ensuring they have accurate information to share with customers.

Reporting and Feedback: Provide regular reports on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to analyze data and identify areas for improvement and growth.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in sales, customer service, or promotional roles.

Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

Take and pass an internal product quiz.

Must have a clean driving record.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge and passion for cannabis, including strains, products, and consumption methods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Proficiency in social media platforms and other digital marketing tools.

Familiarity with local cannabis regulations and compliance standards.

Afternoons and Weekends

Schedule:

Flexible, notice provided (generally events are within a 4-hour window)

Compensation:

$15 - $25 per hour (depending on sales)

4 – 12 hours per week (depending on availability)
