Cannabis Associate - ON-CALL

Position Overview: As a Cannabis Associate On-Call at GOLDLEAF, you will play a crucial role in our post-production process. Your primary responsibilities will include harvesting cannabis plants. At times you will also help hand-trimming cannabis using various styles and guidelines while maintaining consistent output and packaging different cannabis goods, such as flower, concentrates, and edibles. You will uphold strict quality control standards. Your keen attention to detail and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols and company guidelines will contribute to the production of high-quality cannabis products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work on plants under manager’s direction
• Follow detailed plan and timeline for plant production from clone to harvest
• Participate in trimming/de-leafing/pruning, fertilizing, harvesting, trimming, potting, moving and watering cannabis plants
• Assist Director of Cultivation and Assistant Director of Cultivation in integrated pest management (IPM) operations
• Use cleaning products and apply beneficial organisms
• Properly document application of cleaning products
• Perform routine scouting of plant population for potential problems
• Manage and track cultivation waste
• Previous experience in cannabis processing, trimming, or packaging is advantageous, but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Familiarity with different trimming styles is considered a plus.
• Sanitize and clean work/grow area
• Document any and all activity in traceability program
• Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers
• Follow regulations and company guidelines for all compliance, work flows, and safety matters

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to successfully complete a State Background Check

Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Typical Start Time: 8AM-9AM
• Typical End Time: 5PM
• Work requires a period of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and sitting

On call position does not come with benefits, PTO or holidays
