Campground Cleaner (Seasonal)

About Us: Greenwood Acres Family Campground is Jackson County’s largest family campground and RV Park. Here, you’ll find over 1,100 campsites on 300 acres of land, featuring one mile of beautiful scenery on Goose Lake. We are committed to providing exceptional camping experiences and seek a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner. The campground is open April 1st until October 31st.

Job Description: As a Campground Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our campground facilities are clean, sanitary, and welcoming for our guests. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness of campsites, restrooms, shower facilities, common areas, and other campground amenities. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall guest experience and satisfaction. We are looking for a motivated individual to join us who can commit to working the entirety of the upcoming camping season, April 1st through October 31st. This is a seasonal position.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize campground facilities, including restrooms, shower facilities, laundry rooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; wipe down surfaces; and empty trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the campground.
• Monitor and replenish restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, to ensure that guests have access to essential amenities.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as needed, including seasonal maintenance and preparation for peak camping seasons.
• Provide assistance and support to campground staff and guests as needed, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the campground.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and carrying, and to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
• Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Passion for the outdoors and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
