Form of workYMCA Camp Santa Maria is looking for creative and adaptive facilitators who are looking to share their love for the outdoors through accessible and engaging outdoor education. Join our staff team as a Bike Technician and program facilitator working with our brand new 75 fleet bike program.
Qualifications:
•Knowledge of the bicycle skills and/or experience coaching/teaching new activities to children
•18 years or older (additional age requirements apply to higher-level positions)
•Coordinates use of facilities for program activities and events with the Leadership staff team.
•Current certification in CPR and First Aid. (We can help you complete this!)
•Ability to maintain, clean, repair, and keep a log book on 75 Trek and Krusher bikes.
Pay Rate: Starting at $450-$500/week. This position requires you to live at camp. Room and board are included. Training starts on May 24th.
Physical Demands
Camp life can be physically and emotionally challenging. You will be asked to function at 8200 ft of elevation, in a variety of summer mountain weather ranging from snow to highs in the 90's with potential strong thunderstorms. On an average day you will walk 3-5 miles.
