BetterLife was formed in January 2021 after a merger of two companies with histories going back more than 125 years. We are a member-owned life insurance company with a large focus on supporting the member communities that we serve. Our home office is in Madison, Wisconsin and we are authorized to do business in 19 different states.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Inforce Sales, the Call Fronter will be an integral part of the sales team. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by initiating contact with potential and existing members and introducing them to our life insurance products. We are looking for candidates with a passion for helping others and excellent communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Make outbound calls to potential clients to discuss life insurance options and transfer to a licensed agent
- Introduce and explain various life insurance products
- Gather and record relevant information from clients
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule follow-up appointments

What you should bring to the table:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills skills
- Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
- Ability to work in a fast passed environment
- Motivated and results-oriented
- Able to handle stress and remain calm and maintain a member-service mindset
- Problem-solving ability
This position requires minimal travel.
