Terminix Service, Inc. in Columbia, SC is looking to hire multiple full-time Call Center Specialist.All work is performed in person at our office in Columbia, SC.

This full-time Call Center Specialist position minimum pay starts at $19.00 dependent upon experience, plus commissions on sales.

Job Summary:

Rollover Overflow Call (ROC) Center will be managed by Director of Branch Administration. The ROC staff position will work under general supervision of the Director of Branch Administration. The Call Center Specialist / Account Team Specialist position will handle overflow call volume from our 56 branches located throughout SC, Western NC, and the CSRA of Georgia. Your primary responsibilities are to answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, manage accounts, process payments, and soft selling. As the front line for our clients your excellent interpersonal and communication skills are an essential part of your success.

  1. Assist the customer calls and accounts with various needs such as payments, scheduling services and quoting services and sales.
  2. Overflow calls that the 56 branches are unable to answer due to being on the other line or out of the office.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Prior Call Center AND/OR customer service work experience.
  2. Demonstrated sales ability.
  3. Ability to discuss service and speak knowledgeably to customers
  4. Ability to upsell services to customers.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and deal with difficult situations or customers to diffuse situation and help resolve the problem.
  6. Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
  7. Prefer prior Call Center and Sales experience

Preferred skill set:

  1. Call Center experience.
  2. 3 years experience as a Call Center Supervisor or Call Center Manager.
  3. Customer Service experience
  4. Sales experience
  5. Leadership or management experience.
  6. AS400 experience.
