The practice seeks a professional EXPERIENCED Front Desk Receptionist/Call Center Representative

Minimum Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year experience as Front Desk Scheduler/Telephone Operator
Excellent customer service skills and a caring personality
Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Excellent phone manners
Self-starter, confident, organized, articulate and a quick thinker
The ideal Candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to effectively handle multiple task in a fast- paced environment.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Strong ability and willingness to learn about medical procedures
Knowledge on medical terminology and electronic medical records
Proficient in Microsoft software including Word, and Excel
The incumbent’s duties and responsibilities include:
Answer telephone calls and respond to patient portal, e-mails and text messages
Handle patient inquiries both by telephone and by text message in a timely manner
Research required information using available resources
Manage and resolve patients complaints
Provide patient with product and service information
Enter new patient information into EHR system
Collect insurance information and put into system
Update existing patient information
Route calls to appropriate resource
Follow up patient calls where necessary
Identify and escalate priority issues
Contact patients by phone ,email or text
Respond to questions
Identify and overcome objections
Maintains confidentiality, security and integrity of patient and organizational data.
Ensures release of information is consistent with all privacy policies.
Escalate communication concerns requiring the Director of Operations intervention.
Report work flow concerns affecting Call Center operations to the Call Center Lead or Director of Operations.
Organizes, maintains Call Center agent productivity reports in the server following guidelinesand procedures with the Call Center Lead as set by the Director of Operations.
Accurately utilizes the features of the telephones and other related equipment.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness, safety and security of the office communication equipment.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by the Director of Operations or the President.
The candidate must be able to work a flexible full-time various day shift between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Prior dermatology and plastic surgery experience a plus but not required. Experience with EMA Modernizing Medicine also a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
