Job Description Summary

Responsible for the proper maintenance and calibration of all mechanical/electrical systems and equipment. This includes but is not limited to microscopes, ovens, hardness testers, incubators, x-ray's, analytical equipment etc.

Job Description

Salary: $25-$30/hr

Location: Plano, TX

• Perform maintenance and repairs to all building systems.

• Equipment contract negotiations and renewals

• Oversee calibration schedules while maintaining constant communications with the customer and vendors.

• Comply with calibration standards (similar to ISO 9000)

• Comply with ASTM standards.

• Complete department's work orders meeting KPIs.

• Manage all asset records inside of CMMS systems.

• Administer and record calibrations inside of CMMS system.

• Escort vendors, restore equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.

• Respond to all trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the operational and comfort needs of the building occupants.

• Be proficient in the functionality of the building automation system and understand the sequences required for proper building operations.

• Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.

• Maintain a professional, safe and clean work area. Comply with C&W Services and OSHA Safety Policies and Regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ensures assigned work tasks meet quality standards.

• Promotes the development of quality improvements through the initiation of process improvements.

• Complete all work order paper/computer work.
