Job Description
The Calendaring Clerk plays an important role to both the Employment Law and Personal Injury Departments. This position provides administrative, documentation and project support to the Litigation Support Team, primarily assisting with setting appointments, maintaining the calendar and other duties as assigned. The department operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; Spanish, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese is a plus
- Education: High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Analytical and critical thinker
- Excellent hands-on computer skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate files
- Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy in handling negative or challenging situations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word Suite required
Job Responsibilities
- Manage calendar scheduling for Personal Injury and Employment Law departments
- Update case files with appointment dates and times on Smart Advocate
- Add remote appearance information to appointments in Smart Advocate
- Track important legal and filing deadlines and send reminders on upcoming deadlines and appointments as needed
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
- Assist the Personal Injury and Employment Law departments with other duties as assigned

- Pay range: $20-22/hr
