Jerk Grill Express Jamaican Restaurant is looking for friendly, reliable and self motivated Cashier/Server who possess good knowledge of Jamaican and Caribbean food. Full-time and Part-time positions are available.

A Jerk Grill Express Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to Mall customers in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the restaurant’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding customer service and financial profitability.

What is a Jerk Grill Express Server/Cashier?

As A Jerk Grill Express Server/cashier, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the restaurant's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals and condiments

· Operate POS system with integrity, honesty and accuracy by collecting payment and provide change where necessary to customers

· Ensure menu knowledge especially for Jamaican food

· Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the order service

· Respond to customers’ requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner

· Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

· Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.

· Sweeping and mopping work space to keep a clean work environment

· Be able to adapt to changing guest volume levels with a sense of urgency

· Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the recipes

· Be able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines

· Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen grill and line

· Have the ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location.

· Have a high school diploma

· Have a valid food handlers’ card. (Acquired at applicant's own expense.)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Jamaican food: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: Multiple locations
