Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and rotate incoming and outgoing inventory. Effectively communicate with the ordering lead regarding any inventory issues.
- Responsible for conducting quality, temperature, and inventory controls.
- Prepare and serve meals. Prepare food according to written and oral instructions.
- Replenish food stations as needed. Correctly set up and break down workstations.
- Temporarily Cover positions as needed. Perform related work as required.
- Perform duties following health, food service, government, and other regulations. Participate in formal and informal training. Perform all tasks assigned safely and productively. Practice personal hygiene and proper sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment. Perform dishwashing and trash removal. Perform sweeping and mopping.
- Always professionally greet customers.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (adequate education/training/experience).
- three years of restaurant or food service experience.
- Excellent work and attendance record.
- Knowledge of food and nutrition.
- General knowledge of methods used in preparing and serving.
- Ability to demonstrate proper equipment operation skills.
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Serve safe certified recommended.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent (adequate education/training/experience)
Years of Experience: 3+
Field of Expertise: Restaurant, food service
Certificates: Serve safe, certified
