Student Nutrition 2024/2025
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires six- (6) month's experience stocking and inventorying a warehouse.
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License
- Must possess a commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must be knowledgeable of basic personal computer operations and be able to operate a forklift
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintain and operate student NUTRITION WAREHOUSE by receiving, storing and record keeping of all warehouse stock.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows local, state and federal law and adheres to Public of Education and Local School Board Policy.
- Receives and unloads deliveries from vendors.
- Verifies delivery be comparing to invoice.
- Checks for damaged or spoiled goods when delivered.
- Dates products immediately upon delivery from vendor.
- Arranges and stocks items in proper locations such as dry goods area and freezers.
- Separates and pulls orders to be delivered to the various school sites.
- Compares printouts to cafeteria orders.
- Maintains records of completed purchase orders and vendor invoices.
- Maintains records of back orders and returned projects.
11. Loads and delivers orders to school sites.
- Unloads orders at school sites and delivers to cafeterias.
- Conducts physical inventory of warehouse stock on a regular basis.
- Cleans and maintains the warehouse facility.
- Conducts preventive maintenance and minor maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
REPORTS TO: Director of Student Nutrition
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work year to be in accord with current schedule for warehouse employees. Salary to be determined by individual training and experience level on current Warehouse Salary Schedule
Q EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
PHYSICAL LEVEL RATING: This position will require the employee to function at a "Heavy" physical capacity as defined by Workman's Compensation statutes. "Heavy" physical capacity indicates the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally or up to 50 pounds frequently.
