Café Cashier

foodwerx is South Jersey’s premier caterer, and we are growing! Located in Cherry Tree Executive Campus in Cherry Hill, the foodwerx cafe is our contribution to the businesses and schools that share our workspace. Open Tuesday-Thursday from 7:30am-2pm, we provide breakfast and lunch options for the employees and students in the building.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process credit card and mobile payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cashier is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with food preparation processes
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Experience using point-of-sale system preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
