Position Title
- Cafe Attendant
As the Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each resident, guest, and team member providing a superb customer service experience. - Full Time (Mornings)
Responsibilities
- Ensures each customer is educated on beverages and food items being offered and ensures each order is made as requested.
- Champions hospitality to all residents, guests, and visitors with excellence in customer service.
- Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to New Perspective standards at all times.
- Appropriately accounts for all financial transactions through resident billing and receipts.
- Operates and maintains assigned equipment. (Including Point of Sale System: POS)
- Communicates and interacts with residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way.
- Ensures that an attractive home environment exists at all times at the community with a milieu that fosters engagement, socialization.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School diploma / GED with solid accounting skills and experience in the hospitality field.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
- Strong computer skills and ability to use a variety of electronic devices.
- Empathy for the challenges experienced by residents and family members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them.
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with older adults in senior living, long-term care, home health or other health care setting.
