Consor is seeking a CADD Designer to join our Team to provide CAD section leadership along with daily design and drafting support for a growing practice. Position Overview: This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth of Consor's practice through outstanding technical delivery. The candidate will help establish CADD standards and procedures, coordinate CAD resources, and utilize high level CAD design skills to help deliver projects. Projects include transportation and water infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Create drawings for a wide range of survey, design, and construction infrastructure projects.
- Associates degree and/or a Bachelor's degree with CADD curriculum or comparable experience.
- Good working knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation/GEOPAK preferred. Standard CADD Software (i.e., Carlson and AutoCAD, etc.) is required.
- Knowledge of and ability to read construction and engineering documents preferred.
- Good working knowledge of construction units and scale related to design documents.
- Workload management skills.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Illustrate initiative and resourcefulness.
- Demonstrate ability to develop and produce survey drawings in CADD including experience with AutoCAD or Bentley Open Roads Designer and MicroStation/GEOPAK.
- Civil Engineering infrastructure experience preferred.
- Very good personal and working relationship skills.
- Ability to understand and complete projects with minimal instruction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem solving skills a plus.
- Municipal and DOT project experience preferred.
