Summary – Engineering CAD Technician: As an Engineering CAD Technician you’d be responsible for performing detailing and drafting work on assigned projects. Projects typically consist of steel structures for commercial, industrial, and public clients.
Responsibility Summary – Engineering CAD Technician
- Perform drafting and detailing in computer aided design (CAD) software.
- Create erection, approval, and permit drawings.
- Work with other members of the project team to completed assigned tasks.
- Update parts in the workflow planning system.
- Assure deadlines are met.
Qualification Summary – Engineering CAD Technician
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer aided drafting, structural engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field of study
- 1+ year of educational or professional experience in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software
- Proficient in performing complex mathematical calculations
- High level of skill in the use of computer hardware and software systems
