Position: CAD/GIS/Survey Technician
We are looking for a CAD/GIS/Survey Technician to join our team!
In this position, your tasks will include the following:
- CAD drafting for surveying projects using Carlson, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation
- Creating and modifying maps for topographic, utility, right of way/boundary, subdivision, as-built and surveys
- Perform office calculations for land surveying projects and checking of field data accuracy
- Prepare computations, adjustments of field work, stakeout information and reports for Project Managers
- Perform research for property/title, recorded survey maps, and utility records
Candidate Profile:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: land surveying, engineering, geography, geology, mathematics, or applied science (preferred)
- Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, and Esri GIS experience (preferred)
- Experience with Leica Cyclone Software, Trimble Business Center, TRU and Point Cloud Data (preferred)
- Ability to interpret and understand plans and specifications (necessary)
- A valid driver’s license (necessary)
