Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice is seeking candidates for the position of CAD Intern. This is a position located in San Jose, California.

 

Accountabilities

• Acquire knowledge of various engineering department's operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
• Observe work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
• Use engineering skills to develop automation procedures and scripts to
  • Improve RTL Verilog netlist validation and constraints check for logic synthesis/PNR flow
  • Create EDA data mining dashboard by querying data from MySQL db
  • Develop EDA Chatbot and predictive projects using GenAI technology
  • Create, update and re-organize EDA tools documents on SharePoint to improve quality and accessibility for end users
•  Attend related training (if provided) and apply training in work assignments.
• Perform other related responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• 0-5yrs experience of hardware integration design
• Working knowledge of System Verilog, synthesis, and static timing analysis
• Experience with Linux scripting in at least one of shell, and Python
• Experience and knowledge of PnR is a plus but not a must
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• The ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and design

Benefits

The base pay for this role is between $23 to $53 per hour.
