We are a professional fabrication shop that specializes in industrial, structural, and custom fabrication. The shop is a fast pace work environment always striving to complete our projects with precise detail and on time. We are expanding our detailing and design team and looking for someone that takes pride in their work. This is a fulltime position with the possibility of overtime depending on work load.
Ideal Candidate Will:
Show up to work on time everyday ready to perform the tasks at hand. Be honest, trustworthy, and manage time well. Have a working knowledge of 3d modeling software, and be able to keep revisions, files, and projects organized. Computer proficiency and familiarity with Autodesk, Fusion 360, Solidworks, or similar CAD software is required.
Software / Industry specific training will be provided for the right candidate with relevant experience.
General skills needed:
- 3d Modeling Software experience
- Blueprint reading / generation
- General computer / technology skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- General math skills
- Reading a tape measure
- Prior construction / mechanical experience a bonus
- Familiarity with weld specifications and AWS symbols
- Familiarity with AISC and AWS standards
The ideal candidate will be skilled on a computer, display attention to detail, and be able to maintain and update files / blueprints with design changes. This candidate will be developing 3D models and annotate 2D blueprints, generating cut lists, prints, and job folders.
