Cad Automation Engineer/Developer

We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer/Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing a CAD connector for our PLM platform, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD connector and automation solutions to streamline processes within our platform, ensuring reliability, seamless integration and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with software development and other teams to understand project requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CAD connector and automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
• Document CAD connector and automation workflows, configurations, and implementation details to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer among team members.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders, including product and PLM teams, to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring that CAD connector and automation solutions precisely meet user needs, expectations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Proficiency in .Net, C#, and REST API development environments.
• Familiarity with CAD automation development processes.
• Hands-on experience in SolidWorks CAD API programming.
• Understanding of Product Structure Architecture.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with any PDM/PLM Software.
• Basic understanding of Engineering Standards.
• Experience with creating models and assemblies.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per month
