We are currently seeking a dedicated Cable TV, Internet, and Phone Installer Tech to join our team. This role involves performing new connections, reconnects, and service upgrades or downgrades. Responsibilities

• Perform new connections, reconnects, add outlets, install or remove converters, and perform service upgrades or downgrades.
• Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure service operates within prescribed parameters.
• Read signal levels through the use of a field strength meter, solve installation problems, install connectors on different types of drop cable, and maintain proper clearances.
• Climb poles, ladders, or other structures as needed using proper equipment. Lift and carry loads up to 75lbs.
• Work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived problems.
• Drive company vehicle between home, office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment to be prepared to perform required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately, and report and record work order status updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to carry a 28ft ladder from truck to pole
• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house or attics
• Ability to climb over 28 feet
