Full Job Description
We are looking for experienced Contractors to handle Residential and Commercial cable service installations. This position operates as an independent contractor. You will receive a weekly reverse invoice outlining your codes and have the option for direct deposit. Start date is contingent on the completion of a background check.
Responsibilities include:
Installation, programming, and calibration of cable equipment.
Verification of TV, internet, and phone systems for proper functionality.
Troubleshooting cable wiring, splitter configurations, and cable plant levels.
Providing exceptional customer service to enhance the customer experience.
Ensuring that each job meets company standards.
Documenting installation, service, and repairs.
Educating customers on all services and equipment installed.
Work Schedule:
- 5-6 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Shifts may be 10 hours or 8 hours in duration.
- Day shift.
Salary:
- Full-time, 1099 (Independent Contractor).
- Your earnings are based on the amount of work completed, so your effort directly affects your income. If you are new to cable technician work, expect to earn $1,100 - $1,700 per week for the first 1-2 months. Experienced cable technicians can make $1,400 - $2,000 per week.
