Cabinet Maker/Installer

Wyomissing Woodworks is a commercial woodworking business that fulfills custom designs for each client. We work together as a team each day to succeed and continue to grow.

We are looking to add a benchman that has experience in millwork and cabinetry. The candidate should have a positive attitude with the ability to work well with others as a team. Shop experience & knowledge of shop tools & machinery is required. A typical day in the shop consists of fabricating cabinets, reception desks, countertops, solid surface fabrication, wood wall panels and commercial casework.

In addition to a benchman, we are also seeking to hire qualified carpenters to expand our installation crew. Individual must have experience in trim/cabinet installation.

Subcontractors are also welcome.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings to determine project requirements

- Operate woodworking machinery and tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers

- Install fixtures, hardware, and accessories onto completed cabinets and furniture

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role

- Proficient in using woodworking machinery and tools

- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties

- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings

- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note: Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines are a plus.
