Cabinet maker/Custom Millworker
Job Description/Summary:
Cabinet maker / Millwork fabricator. Will build many types of custom millwork working from CAD drawings. We build high-end restaurants, courthouses, retail spaces and residential interiors.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read fabrication drawings
- Ability to work with machines, power tools and general woodworking tools
- Work directly as a fabricator and/or oversee any assistant fabricators as needed
- Manage organization and work flow
- Ensure that each aspect of the project is completed and ready for the assembly phase
- Maintain excellent organization throughout the fabrication process to ensure the highest efficiency and quality
- Ensure the correct use of products
- Double check all operations performed on project before proceeding and perform constant quality control throughout all phases
- Self-educate as much as possible to stay current on products and trends.
- Reports status of each project to project supervisor on a regular basis
- Carefully maintain records of each project for cost analysis and future reference
- Final assembly and delivery preparations
- Coordinate and communicate with Project manager and shipping department to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained to prepare for delivery.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and quality
- 3 years minimum experience in the industry
- In depth knowledge of all facets of the commercial millwork fabrication industry including equipment and product.
- Decision making skills
- Organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
