Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Knowledgeable in the RTW, Shoes, Accessories and Home space.
  • Set the seasonal buying strategy for REVOLVE Women’s to continue to grow the business.
  • Develop and manage relevant vendor relationships, as well as relationships across the company channels.
  • Analyze business metrics and industry trends to find opportunities for future assortments.
  • Actively build out the vendor matrix.
  • Manage sales and profitability, gross-margins, financial projections and merchandise plans.
  • Manage the buy of a variety of brands and products for REVOLVE.com
  • Identify opportunities and risks in-season through analyzing sales performance.
  • Partner with planning and exec team to set and drive financial goals.
  • Lead new brand and category onboarding.
  • Manage information across functions (planning, marketing and e-commerce merchandising) and across channels to execute profit, sales and inventory targets, in addition to defining and developing assortment growth opportunities that align with strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with planning to continuously improve and create reporting and visibility to category, subcategory and brand performance.
  • Partner with Admin & Assistant Manager on junior level development and growth across the department.
  • Find opportunities with existing brands to identify areas in which we can continue to expand, either through exclusives, category expansion or general depth.
  • Create and share seasonal trend guides across the organization to support the overall merchandising calendar.
  • Facilitate and lead various projects, as assigned.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to align messaging and product placement through social.
  • Oversee contracts in partnership with legal and upper management.
  • Mentor, train and develop Buyers of all levels while leading and innovating our Buyer Development Program.
  • Leads high level business discussions with vendors on an as needed basis.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Some travel required.

  • Ability to be a team player, taking on any task needed to support the broader team/organization.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
  • 8+ years buying experience required.
  • Experience in digital and/or multi-brand setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to apply retail math concepts, including markup, margin planning, open to buy, and inventory productivity measures.
  • Proficient in Email (preferably Gmail), Microsoft Office.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $150,000 per year to $200,000 per year.
