About Us: The Original Broken Yolk Café started in 1979 in Pacific Beach, a local beach community in San Diego, California. Pay: $10.25 per hour wage plus tips on carryout orders as well as part of the restaurant tip pool. Our hosts make between $25-35/day typically in tips each day.
