Job Summary
Assist bartenders, servers, and host by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure quick and friendly service to our guests.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Passion to deliver the best experience through attentive and friendly service.
- Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Responsible for bus station cleanliness and stocking of service areas through the shift.
- Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it or upon manger’s request.
- Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
- Ensures all food is properly garnished prior to running it out to a guest.
- Delivers food to tables and ensures guests have all they need.
- Busses and resets tables with a sense of urgency.
- Offers assistance to guests by clearing away dishes, glassware, and refilling beverages if needed.
- Cleans highchairs and boosters before and after use.
- Informs hot staff of tables status to ensure faster turn times and efficiency.
- Must be able to verbalize guests’ needs to other employees/manager.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain safety & cleanliness of workspace.
- Serve guests in friendly manner and encourage repeat patronage.
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights.
