Retrieves trays, tables and other service items from guest room hallways and returns them to the Room Service Function area. This position is responsible for getting dirty dishes to the dish room in a timely manner. Because this position may have interaction with hotel guests, the Tray Runner must represent the IP Casino-Resort-Spa and its adherence to the highest standards of service in all of his or her interactions with hotel guests.
- Removes trays and/or tables from guest hallways in the hotel.
- Empties dirty dishes and trays into dish room area.
- Keeps area clean and stocked with trays and tables for delivery of orders.
- Takes dirty linen to linen barrel
- Remove dirty trays/tables from guest hallways in the hotel.
- Breakdown trays/tables in dish room area.
- Keep trays/tables stocked and organized.
- Help with all side work as needed.
- Keep guest area clean of all trays, tables, glasses, and/or trash throughout shift.
- Keep racks that are used for transport of trays clean.
- Clean trays, hot boxes and returned condiments including but not limited to salt and pepper shakers, sugar caddies, etc.
- Will work as a team with other venue associates to produce a smooth, efficient operation.
- Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies.
