Business Strategy Senior Manager

Department Overview:

The Business Strategy department consists of three teams: IT Systems, Strategic Initiatives, and Data Analytics. Each team plays a crucial role in contributing to the overarching mission of the department. As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our leadership team to include dedicated managers/supervisors for each team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

  • Provide guidance on project execution, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Data Analytics team, regularly reporting on progress and identifying areas for improvement

• Strategic Insights:

  • Utilize 8-10 years of professional experience in business intelligence to provide critical insights and analytical support to assist in the development and refinement of the company's strategic initiatives and long-term planning

  • Evaluate and recommend new data analytics tools and technologies that enhance the team's capabilities and align with the evolving needs of the business

• Predictive Modeling:

  • Drive the development and implementation of predictive models, leveraging historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement

• Project Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of data analytics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities

  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Strategic Initiatives teams to ensure seamless integration of data analytics projects and alignment with overall business processes

• Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the Data Analytics team

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Executive-Level Reporting:

  • Create and present executive-level reports and dashboards, translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations for the VP of Business Strategy

  • Engage with key stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and collaboratively develop solutions that drive value for the business

Required Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of professional experience in business intelligence, with a proven track record of using data to report to and drive change at the executive leadership level

• Previous leadership or management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead small teams effectively

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights

• Proficiency in the following software, tools, or processes is required: Salesforce, Tableau or Power BI, Root Cause Analysis, Agile Methodologies

• Proficiency in the following preferred but not required: Python, Data Warehouse (e.g. Snowflake), Agile Tools (e.g. Jira), SQL, SOQL

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred but relevant work experience is prioritized

Work Policy:

On-site work Tuesday through Thursday of each week, Monday and Friday are flexible and can be worked remotely depending on tasks
