Job Title: Business Risk and Controls Analyst II
Location: Charlotte, NC Type: Hybrid
Job Summary:
Seeking motivated U.S. Military Veterans for a Business Risk and Controls Analyst II Join our dynamic team as a Business Risk and Controls Analyst II, where you will be instrumental in enhancing and safeguarding our organization's operations within the SFO division. Your role will focus on evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on risk management strategies and control mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of risk programs, ensuring rigorous testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to fortify in-Business Risk management and control processes, fostering a secure and compliant organizational culture.
  • Guide business partners in designing and implementing effective controls, policies, and procedures that optimize functional area operations.
  • Address complex risk management scenarios with an informed understanding of our risk framework and control environment to achieve strategic reporting outcomes and initiate key projects.
  • Recommend prioritization strategies for control implementation, based on thorough risk assessments.
  • Execute detailed Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and control testing to guarantee operational efficiency, pinpointing areas for improvement.
  • Lead gap analysis and solution development to minimize losses due to process, system, or human errors.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for operational losses or potential risks, providing insightful assistance.
  • Coordinate Risk and control information for audits and external reviews to ensure a cohesive and transparent approach.
  • Consistently track and report on self-identified issues and remediation strategies, aiding in enhancing our risk mitigation efforts.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Treasury Operations, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, Business or Technology Audit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Profound knowledge of financial services and business process Risk and control practices.
