Responsibilities:
- Lead large, complex, multi-functional projects to delivery using a variety of methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
- Manage scope, schedule, and resources to deliver the required capabilities on time and within budget while appropriately ensuring the business is ready and risks are mitigated.
- Utilize established project management methodology, tools and techniques (e.g., develop and maintain project charters, detailed project plans, status reports, budget tracking, schedules, resource requirements, etc.).
- Proactively identify risks and create contingency/mitigation plans; escalate risks along with potential solutions.
- Identify key stakeholders, gather requirements, and implement appropriate stakeholder governance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project partners along with the ability to challenge them to drive alignment on execution of deliverables.
- Apply change management discipline to all appropriate facets of a project lifecycle.
- Assess project performance against measures of success and evaluate project status, resource utilization and implementation of changes to improve the teams' effectiveness.
- Facilitate business decision making to ensure solutions align with strategy and can be sustained by Operations.
- Lead regular project meetings to review progress and priorities and ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the project team and matrix partners.
Skills & Requirements:

- 5+ years of project management/related work experience required.
- 3+ years of experience working in various divisions of healthcare strongly preferred.
- Ability to be intellectually curious by obtaining detail beyond the status and base requirements to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ability to think strategically, work in ambiguous situations, respond favorably to change, execute efficiently, work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Strong business acumen, with proven ability to quickly acquire knowledge in new business areas and new types of projects.
- Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment is critical.
- Ability to lead virtual project teams spread across the entire country is required.
- Project, Lean, Agile or Change Management certifications are valued, but not required.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred.
