Hybrid role in East Hanover, NJ
Detail oriented Process Improvement Specialist (Associate Director or Director level) with at least 5 years of experience in analyzing and optimizing business operations. Proficiency in data-driven process improvement, and cross functional collaboration.
Adept at identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, measure implementation results, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the US EB accounting team to identify ways to improve the efficiency of the accounting and financial reporting process in the following areas:
• Pension
• Share Based Compensation
• Payroll
• Restructuring and Severance
• Bonus and other compensation incentives
Employee Benefits in general
• Month End Close activities
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Controls
Required skill sets:
• Problem solving: the ability to identify and analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Process mapping: the ability to document, analyze, identify, and improve Business Processes.
• Process improvement methodology: knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, etc.
• Root cause analysis: The ability to identify the underlying causes of problems and develop effective solutions.
• Project management: The ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Communications: The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Change management: The ability to manage change within an organization, including communication, training, and stakeholder management.
• Systems / tools: proficient at data mining tools such as Alteryx, PowerAutomate, Bot development. System knowledge, such as SAP and ADP is preferred.
Education and qualification requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Computer science, advanced degree in Finance/Accounting/Business preferred; CA/CPA/CIA strongly preferred
• At least 5 years in accounting/Business Process improvement, with 3+ years external audit, internal controls & compliance experience in multi-national and multi-dimensional organization preferred
