Overview

Business Process and Reporting Data Analyst supports the organization in preparation, analysis, and statistical reporting data sets related to revenue.

Responsibilities

• Works with Revenue Cycle Team to identify opportunities for improvement for the organization
• Creates reports to help team to improve efficiency and strategies
• Collects data, such as cash receipts, Accounts Receivable Aging, and track adjustments to report and research variances
• Identifies needed reports and opportunities
• Collaborates with team members to collect and analyze data
• Presents information in various ways for visualization and action
• Monitors KPIs to measure effectiveness of business
• Structures large data sets to find usable information
• Creates presentations for use with teams and leadership
• Performs Audits
• Identifies areas of risk
• Generates cause and effect analysis of on-going issues and work with team for resolution
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
• Uses skills and qualifications that help solve problems with large amounts of data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, or related field
• Two years of experience in developing reporting strategies a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong reporting and data visualization skills using software such as Microsoft Access, PowerBI and Excel preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to set and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
• Ability to interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining
• Ability to apply Accounting principles related to cash and revenue recognition
