Form of workStructure House is a residentially-based program in Durham, NC for all gender-inclusive adults that specializes in health behavior change, healthy weight management, and eating concerns involving compulsive overeating, emotional eating, and binge eating. Our behaviorally-based treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team of dietitians, registered nurses, life coaches, and exercise specialists.
Structure House is seeking a part-time with benefits (32 hours per week) Business Office Clerk to assume responsibility for the timely submission of charges to patients and collection. Also, responsible for the admission and registration of incoming patients.
- Provide strong customer service.
- Assist with weekly invoicing to patients for continued care.
- Registration and charge entry for all services provided per policy and procedure.
- Document all collection efforts and contacts in the patient accounting system.
- Inform the Business Office Manager of any potential issues that may delay payment and/or issues with payors.
- Greet arriving patients.
- Review prospective admissions against approved admission criteria, policies, and procedures.
- Complete admissions paperwork and explain forms for the patient's signature, upload, and archive documentation in appropriate systems.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
As a residential treatment center, Structure House is open 365 days a year. Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
