Mission of the Role: Develop and deploy BI tools to assist Engineering improve effectiveness in the product development.
Key Objectives of this Role:
- Assist in rationalizing KPI dashboards in the Engineering space, specially used by software development.
- Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains in dashboards.
- Creation of dashboard on effective Engineering dashboard usage
- Rationalize and optimize the data structure underlying the Engineering dashboards.
- Assist in migrating dashboards from Qlikview to PowerBI
- Creating standards for PowerBI dashboard with respect to the Engineering needs.
- Support system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to dashboard production launches.
- Contribute to the documentation for new dashboard requirements, design, testing and launch.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Weekly progress report of assigned tasks.
- Successful completion of tasks and evidence of deliverables
- Delivery of required documentation
- Feedback from stakeholders
Key Deliverables:
- Evidence showing full understanding of the project plans.
- Delivery of the assigned tasks.
- Prepare presentation summarizing accomplished tasks aligned with the objective assignment.
- Document learnings from the internship.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science and currently enrolled in a Masters program in Software or Data Science.
- Knowledge of Data models and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently perform assignments without continuous supervision.
