  • Preferred Major(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, any related major. 
  • Paid: $20.00 per hour
  • Internship Duration: June 3rd, 2024 – August 9th, 2024 (end date flexible), approx. 40 hours per week

Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast (Coke Northeast) took flight as a single bottling operation in Laconia, NH in 1977. In October 2019, we rebranded our company to reflect our growing presence in the Northeast. Over more than four decades, our modest roots have blossomed, and we are now proud to be one of the nation’s largest Coca-Cola bottlers employing nearly 4,000 associates, operating 28 sales centers and 2 production facilities throughout New England and New York. Headquartered in Bedford, NH, Coke Northeast offers an expansive portfolio of popular drinks that includes everything from its namesake beverages to Dasani waters, Smartwater, Vitaminwater, Gold Peak teas and coffees, AHA sparkling seltzer, Powerade and BODYARMOR sports drinks, Monster energy drinks, Minute Maid juices, and more.

 

This is a paid seasonal internship with potential to convert to full-time opportunity upon graduation based on intern’s performance and business hiring needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities & Project Overview

  • Shadow Business Intelligence management team to learn day-to-day functions and assist them in accomplishing their goals and assignments
  • Manage the design, development and implementation of multiple, highly complex improvement projects that promote organizational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive revenue
  • Complete specific projects as necessary in Business Intelligence
  • Analyze and create reference packets to better understand SQL
  • Very data focused
  • Learning Outcomes
  • This internship is intended to expose students to Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast while providing a well-rounded training program that will advance the intern’s knowledge of the Business Intelligence and F&B Distribution industry
  • The ultimate goal for students is to gain meaningful experience and professional development. It will introduce students to the basic and advanced skills of Business Intelligence to prepare the intern for their future career after graduation
  • Coding skills
  • Greater understanding of Snowflake
  • More in depth knowledge of SQL
  • Final presentation to our leadership team at the end of the internship to demonstrate what the intern has learned, how it applies to their curriculum, and how they have contributed to Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or recently graduated within one year
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and clean driving record required
