Analytical minded, operationally savvy Business Intelligence professional to join our team. We want an outstanding, driven teammate with a curiosity for all things data, and business. We want someone that has a deep understanding of the retail industry and understand what it takes to implement store operations at a high level. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON...
Pioneer development of analytics products and reports for Global Store Operations. You will orchestrate the creation, delivery, and management of user-centric BI tools and analytics products, with a focus on Tableau dashboards! You will partner with the data engineering teams to model the future of our data ecosystem and establish, champion, and integrate standard processes in all facets of analytics delivery.   • Advance the Store Performance Reporting (SPR) and Operational Excellence (OE) strategies
  • Be the subject matter authority within Global Stores Operations for Nike's data catalog
  • Deliver world class reporting via Tableau that demonstrates human-centered design techniques.
  • Enable relevant datasets for store-facing production environments through data flows and integrations
  • Align with business partners to capture requirements and implement changes to datasets.
  • Elevate store operational performance reporting through important metric development
  • Be a point of contact within Global Store Operations for Nike's data governance and stewardship.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH...
As a member of the Global Store Operations Performance Management team, your primary objective is to serve Nike Store teams globally. Store leaders around the world depend on our reporting solutions to keep up with the pace of retail and deliver insights that drive profit and process-informed decision making Within Global Store Operations your partners will be Labor & Workforce Management, Inventory & Commerce, & Store Process. However, this role will also require distinct partnerships with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A), Nike Digital Product (NDP), and Global Technology teams in order to navigate enterprise data, enable needed retail meaningful metric measurement strategies, and evolve the suite of retail tools store teams leverage daily.
WHAT YOU BRING...
  • Minimum of 4 years in analytics or related field, inclusive of education, professional experience, and 2+ years in leadership or mentorship capacities.
  • Strong understanding of common coding languages (SQL, etc) and varied experience querying enterprise data environments.
  • Proficient in crafting data visualizations, automating reports, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Demonstrable expertise in deriving actionable insights from expansive and intricate datasets.
  • High-level understanding of data warehousing, and data engineering.
  • Demonstrated capability in project management, both autonomously and within teams.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating sophisticated findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Analytics, or Data Science
  • Background in Retail, E-commerce, and Omni Channel and worked with Analytics & Data Science
  • Certified with prominent BI tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Domo, etc)
