JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Manager, the primary function of this position is to develop and manage Business Intelligence solutions for the organization. This position will leverage technologies to work on various data analytics projects providing solutions to improve processes and increase efficiencies across our subsidiaries and shared services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)
- Support development of the Analytics Center of Excellence including but not limited to project tracking, ongoing solution maintenance, process documentation, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Manage and develop data and analytics projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
- Review and oversee Alteryx workflow development across the organization
- Identify operational improvements for efficiency and profitability across the organization
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adapt to new processes and technologies, understand and explain complex concepts
- Exhibit strong organization, project management, and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organization, management, and leadership skills
- Technological and computer literacy skills
- 5+ years Alteryx, Power BI, or other comparable software experience (Alteryx Designer Core Certification required; Advanced preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office package - specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Technical experience desired in SQL, Python, unstructured data, TM1, web/internet technology, machine learning, RPA, data warehouse, and others
- Understanding of accounting concepts, including general ledger and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or related field (experience in lieu of education may be considered)
