In this role, you will support the organization’s financial requirements by handling reporting, accruals, and budgeting/forecasting.  Your responsibilities include preparing monthly accruals and reports on expense and capital spending, with a focus on explaining variances from the plan and forecast.  The analyst is tasked with maintaining and enhancing models for forecasting expenses and explaining variances.  This position is a hybrid on-site/remote role.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Maintain CapEx budget actuals and forecast details to be able to prepare the monthly forecast, month-end, and EOY accruals.
  • Develop models and tools that can improve monthly forecasting with the emphasis on being able to explain variances, and maintain project financial costs and ETC.
  • Maintain budget trackers.
  • Assist with invoice payment and approvals.
  • Assist with change order submissions and approvals.
  • Create, submit and resolve PO Requests and invoice issues.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Directors to create and submit Capital Expenditure Requests.

You Come With

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ year of Finance/Accounting experience.
  • Experience with accruals and forecasting.
  • Experience in finance for a warehouse/distribution center a plus.
  • Advanced Excel user (Pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP’s).
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to deliver accurate results and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and perform advanced financial analysis.
  • Experience with an ERP AP system such as Oracle is a plus.
