Business Development/Marketing Intern:

Summary: The Business Development/Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the organization in the implementation of its business development and marketing/public relations plans.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist Business Development/ Marketing team with general administrative duties.
- Assisting with putting together proposals and qualification packages
- Assist with design of PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist Business Development/ Marketing team with marketing mailings, campaigns, and press releases.
- Assist in preparing and mailing design portfolios and proposal binders.
- Lend support to design department for general administrative tasks on an as-needed basis.
- Assist in researching new business leads and developing prospect lists.
- Assist in tracking new project opportunities and follow-up correspondence.
- Cold call to research and identify new prospective clients and leads
- Maintain and update business contact information via the customer relationship management ("CRM") system.
- Attend meetings with team members to learn and understand the business & projects.
- Conduct market research, as needed
Preferred Education/Skills/Training
- Possess strong leadership, organizing and analytical skills with a high degree of initiative.
- Strong verbal and writing communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants and DI team.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Management, Marketing, or Design-related field.
- Pleasantly Persistent Attitude and Approach.
- Must have experience with online social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or other relevant social networking websites.
- A Plus if skilled in Adobe Photoshop and In-Design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Able to work 20 hours or more per week.
