BUSINESS UNIT: PRODUCT PIPELINES 

Kinder Morgan is the largest independent transporter of petroleum products in North America, transporting approximately 2.4 million barrels per day. The great majority of these products are transported through our Products Pipelines business, which moves gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, natural gas liquids and condensate through about 9,500 miles of pipelines. We also have approximately 65 liquids terminals in this business segment that store fuels and offer blending services for ethanol and biofuels.


Primary purpose

Perform research and market analysis, and assist the commercial activities to identify opportunities and/or projects that will create and enhance the profitability of the assets base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess competitive threats and recommend strategies to mitigate commercial risks to company performance.
• Analyze market trends for crude oil transportation including production trends by basin/area and potential outlets for production.
• Assist in negotiation of commercial terms for revenue generating agreements.
• Prepare term sheets, offer letters and LOI's.
• Prepare management presentations and project justification documents.
• Build, prepare and analyze economic models for evaluating various commercial deal structures
• Develop and document annual plan/budget for revenues and volumes.
• Develop and recommend tariff strategies for company pipelines.
• Identify and develop capital expansion opportunities (define scope, coordinate preparation of cost estimates, prepare economic analysis).
• Create, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

*Position level will be dependent on the experience and job skills of successful candidate.
