Position Summary
Business Controller - MFT Americas
MFT America comprises 4 legal entities, 3 manufacturing locations, several brands (Cornelius, Prince Castle, Display Tech, and Silver King), and 4 OneStream Loads. Headquarters in Carol Stream, IL, which manufactures Food equipment for Quick Service Restaurants (McD, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc.) and Convenience and Gas Stores ((Circle K, 7/11, etc.). Sales in total are $400 million. We also have 2 large factories, 200,000 square feet in Reynosa, Mexico, that produce our beverage dispenser products.
Though you may not know us by name, you've most likely enjoyed meals and refreshments supported by our industry-leading brand portfolio. For decades, we've designed and manufactured food service equipment for some of the world's biggest, most recognized consumer brands. We are driven to innovate with a clear purpose: to enhance the eating and drinking experience, nourishing the people and communities we serve.
The finance function in North America is starting to migrate out from a silo-oriented model and progressing towards a "One Finance function," ultimately enabling three main deliverables: more robust controls, more efficient centralized and standardized working methods, and better financial business partners' experience supporting improved financial results on a company level.
The finance organizational structure that allows those key deliverables requires the coexistence of two groups. One is represented by more transactional finance, which is Shared Service Center driven, allowing for more standardized and centralized work and supporting economies of scale. At the same time, another small group focuses on business partnering and supports taking the company to its next level, providing leadership with a good set of data, and putting in place the right policies and procedures.
Playing the finance business partner role, the Business Controllerwill be responsible for properly informing the business on key financial metrics and partnering with senior leaders and managers to advise on financial controls and operating performance strategies and execution. This position will provide expert financial analytics, guidance, and strategic support as a finance business partner focusing on Marketing, Product Management, and R&D functions for America's business. The role will report to the VP of Finance of the MFT America business.
This role is subject to our hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. You can work the rest of the week wherever it suits you best.

  • In addition, the candidate must possess the ability to be a self-starter and handle workload proactively, manage his/her time wisely, and manage multiple tasks during stringent month-end deadlines.
