The Business Analyst will work within the Division of Data Services & Analytics (DDSA) Data Sharing team to triage, organize, and facilitate requests for healthcare data in the Medicaid Data Sponsorship process. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience and skill set to review and assign incoming data requests, coordinate with data privacy and legal stakeholders to implement appropriate Data Sharing agreements, and act as a Data Sharing liaison to policymakers within the NYS Department of Health’s Medicaid program. Comprehensive on-the-job training and peer/supervisory support will be provided. The candidate should be able to take on new tasks and subject areas, willing to work in a team environment, and able to adjust to multiple priorities successfully.
Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience creating process documentation and document/report templates
• Exceptional verbal, written, and time-management skills
• Experience coordinating meetings and producing meeting minutes preferred
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience with SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 9 years of healthcare experience
