What You'll Get To Do:
Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company's Sales Group is looking for a Business Analytics Specialist to join the Business Analytics and Operations team. This entry position is well suited for a self starter minded person comfortable with collecting configuring, and analyzing business data in a fast-paced business environment. The role works with sales and shelf data from our key retail and e commerce accounts and mixes planned promotions, paid media, and PR activations to support sales forecasting and strategic marketing decision making across our Sales Product and Marketing teams.
- Conduct sales channel and macro trend research in alignment with data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Gather data from multiple sources and analyze it using various tools and techniques such as Excel pivot tables SQL retailer portals and cleanrooms market insights studies and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, PacVue, Helium 10 and Azure Data Explorer.
- Collaborate with marketing sales and product departments to understand their needs and requirements and develop insights and solutions that align with overall business goals.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating key findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings, answer questions, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Continuously learn and develop new skills and knowledge in the field of business analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
- College University graduate with a degree in Business Analytics marketing analytics or business administration
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- MBA preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite PowerPoint and particularly Excel pivot tables
- Proficient with SQL MS PowerBI
- Basic understanding of data table formats and data lake frameworks such as MS Azure
- Experience with Walmart Connect Amazon Marketing Systems
- Working knowledge of secondary data visualization systems such as PacVue, Google Data Studio Tableau or Cognos is preferred

- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently from home and report for in person office hours in our Newark NJ office two days/ week
