Business Analyst - Remote

FI Consulting is seeking several full-time Business Analysts with different levels of experience to work remotely with our clients located in the DC Metro area. This role will interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Will gather and synthesize information as well as analyze documents business needs and requirements including, but not limited to, schedules, risks, and issues.
All applicants must be available to start in mid April 2024. This is for a long term project with a one year contract with a second and third option year potential. We are considering W2 contractors, with benefits, for these positions.

Responsibilities include:

• Experience gathering requirements and managing scope/features for business applications
• Understanding of the Agile SDLC framework and deliverables methodology
• Ability to support and/or lead data analysis, validation, and quality control projects
• Ability to clearly lay out objectives, deliver on commitments, and coordinate analytics with colleagues
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and counterparts across the organization
• Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, previous technical writing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with modeling, economics, accounting a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math or other applicable quantitative or technical field
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Able to work in a deadline-driven, project-based environment, where the schedule can be unpredictable
• High attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality work
• Team player - willingness to contribute to all tasks needed to accomplish team goals
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly, and to take on a broad range of analytical tasks
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team
